Ground breaking for the 1st Alllights Village Multi-purpose Hall

The 10th Philippines-Korea Global Peace leadership Exchange donated for the construction of the 1st Alllights Village Multipurpose Hall.  As the next cycle of Alternative Learning System is approaching, GPFF Philippines in partnership with the DepEd Nueva Ecija will implement GlobALS in nine (9) Alllights Villages.  GPFF Korea donated $3000 (P123,000) for the construction materials of the 3rd concrete Multipurpose Hall. 

        
On December 15-18 2012, there are twenty-five (25) Koreans participant of the said event. The welcome luncheon of the Nueva Ecija Provincial Government was held on December 17, 2012 at Sierra Madre Suites where they were billeted.

The Nueva Ecija High School (NEHS) Dance Troupe entertained them with Philippine traditional cultural dances. All Department  Heads of the provincial government were present and Mr. Michael Calma delivered the welcome message of Governor Aurelio Umali thanking GPFF Korea for all the projects invested in Alllights Villages hoping and the NEPG will counterpart for other future developments of the AVP.

An interview from  TV-48  took place after the program. VP In Teck So was asked on the importance of donating for the construction of Alllights Village Multipurpose Hall. He mentioned that education is very important to improve the lives of the people and develop the community.

Vice President In Teck So of GPFF Korea thanked the Governor and the entire provincial government for making Nueva Ecija  the second home of GPFF Korea.  They were happy for a warm welcome of  the Novo Ecijanos. A ceremonial turnover of GPFF Korea to the province and to municipality of Gabaldon  was the highlight of the welcoming program.



Municipal Administrator Chito Dela Cruz represented Mayor Rolando Bue of Gabaldon  in the acceptance of the donation and two sets of  big solar lamps.

The 10th Global Peace Leadership Exchange was held in the 1st Alllights Village at Sitio Karugang, Bugnan, Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija. A gradual development or improvement of the sitio is taking place.

The sitio is located at a far flung area, Koreans were transported through hand tractor which is very challenging and first time experience for them. The TV-48 crew joined the delegation as well as the provincial police security. GPLE participants did home visitation, tree planting and the ground breaking ceremony.  To stabilize the education of the families, GPFF would like to erect a multipurpose hall have a conducive place to learn and be trained well.  the groundbreaking ceremony  for the 1st Alllights Village Multipurpose Hall was held and located at  the elevated part  of the sitio.

The GPLE program created another momentum for every   Korean and Filipino the experience of one big family centering on the vision One Family under God. Pure and excited students of the Alllights Village presented their cultural dances, the Municipal Administrator dynamically delivered the welcome message of Mayor Bue   followed by an inspiring message of VP In Teck So. He emphasized on the value and importance of family,    that the greatest education can be gained from the best school which   is the family. And the essence of family is the education of living for the sake of others. A moving testimony from Missy Mae Pascua, a Grade III pupil   of the Alllights Village inspired and moved the audience into tears.

The brotherhood and sisterhood ceremony was happily done and the ceremonial turnover ceremony of donations   for the 1st Alllights Village Multipurpose Hall was highlighted followed by distribution of other gifts for the entire village. The program was concluded by a thank you message of the Barangay Captain and a finale dance intermission “Gang Nam Style” was rendered by students.
